Paranormal

Alright, I know some of you, my dear readers ( if I even had readers ) would freak out if you know this but trust me, I'm completely harmless.

--

Sure, MOST of you know that I'm into cosplaying - and that's already weird ( unique, I would call it ) for you. I'm used to people staring at me and giving me that :O face already. Nevertheless, admit it - I'm already one of your more " weirder " friends once you see my cosplay.

--

Today, out of SOME reasons, I'm sharing another of my hobby - The paranormal.

Don't misjudge me - I'm not into ghosts and evil spirits ( yet ). Currently, my field is more or less in the field of Metaphysics, Psychology & Psychic Phenomena.

I've done many stuffs in the metaphysics realm - for instance, Hydrokinesis ( ability to control or create movements in water at will ), Emotion Reading and my favourite, Astral Travel ( In simpler terms, Out-Of-Body experience ), Demon Calling ( summoning a demon ), Tarot Card reading and a little bit of Past Life regression.

Maybe in the future I'll proceed to something more...adventurous.

Yes, I've done them all.

--

I don't know if I'm doing the right thing by telling you guys this. MOST of my friends freaked out once I told them about this..but...............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

It doesn't take a psychic to tell you to that you should just move on.

Beginning of the end.

Today marks the end of term 1...and the beginning of term 2. Not only that, today is a special day.

First of all, the latest Bleach and Naruto manga are out on onemanga.com

I've read both chapters already and I must say I'm impressed. I won't post spoilers, have fun reading.

--

Secondly, ( i think ) today is the last episode of Clannad Afterstory.

How sad. There goes another of my romance animes. I will never forget this anime as I have been watching Clannad and Clannad afterstory for the past 2 years of my life.

--

Thirdly, the day I get back my report book. I did moderately ( 2 more marks for an A1 =( ), but nevertheless, I can do better... a lot better...and I'm going at 60% during term 2.

I won't discuss my results :P

--

Lastly and most importantly...today...marks...the first meeting.

I'll leave you folks to find out more about this.

There is no "someone else";
So, believe in yourself.

Tomorrow is finally the end of Term 1...I've been doing moderate so far ( for a JACKPOT scorer )

[The Da Vinci Code] and [Angels and Demons] by Dan Brown

Alright, so I've just finished reading these 2 books. I'll give my reviews.

The Da Vinci Code :

This book describes the attempts of Robert Langdon, Professor of Religious Symbology at Harvard University, to solve the murder of renowned curator Jacques Saunière of the Louvre Museum in Paris. A baffling cipher is found near his body. Saunière's granddaughter, Sophie Neveu and Langdon attempt to sort out the bizarre riddles and are stunned to discover a trail of clues hidden in the works of Leonardo Da Vinci.
( from wikipedia )

My response :

I WON'T touch on the religious parts of this book. Overall I find this book an excellent read, like all the other reviews. Unlike your normal fairy tales, this book is special. If you read the book, you definitely will learn something - for my case, I learned about PHI, the golden ratio.

Anyway, there are plenty of conspiracies in this book - exceptionally thrilling with surprises at every corner. Heck, come to think of it, the moment I borrowed it from the school library, I never let it out of my sight! Even when I'm going to the canteen or the toilet, I found myself, mysteriously, carrying the book for no apparent reason! The plot is just excellent - how the author places the clue to the journey of Robert Langdon to find the Holy Grail - it all flowed like a masterpiece.

I give this book a rating of : 4.9/5

Another of Dan Brown's book I would recommend is [Angels and Demons]

Angels and Demons :

The plot follows Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon, as he tries to stop what seems to be the Illuminati, a legendary secret society, from destroying the Vatican City with the newly-discovered power of antimatter.

My response :

Again, I won't touch the religious parts. Another marvelous book by Dan Brown - a fascinating read. Although I did rush some of the parts, (yet I still managed to grasp the important parts ), I still found it quite a nice read.

And what really got me reading this book would be the Illuminati. The way they brand their victims with those symbols really got my interests - not to mention how they crack the codes and poems, leading them to places I'd never thought it really existed. And the best part would be the antimatter - something so powerful I did not even know it existed ( before reading the book )

My friend and cousin recommended me this book, and now, I recommend this book to you.

My rating : 4.9/5 ( maybe cause there were some boring, irrelevant parts )

--

Anyway, I'm currently reading Digital Fortress now and Deception Point ( both also by Dan Brown ) later. I'll give my ratings later.

I'm sure these 2 books won't disappoint me and entertain me as much as The Da Vinci Code.

2 VERY exicting J-drama

These 2 J-Dramas are the best dramas I've ever seen ( local crap don't even scale as well as this )

Firstly...

Liar Game ( based on the manga written and illustrated by Shinobu Kaitani )

Nao Kanzaki, an honest college student, receives 100 million yen (about $1,000,000) one day, along with a card saying that she has been chosen to participate in the "Liar Game Tournament".In order to win the game, she is to steal the 100 million yen issued to her sole opponent, and to keep hers safe. Upon finding out to her opponent is her former teacher Kazuo Fujisawa, she misplaces her trust in him and is easily deceived. Knowing that losing the game will put her in debt, a lawyer tells her of Shinichi Akiyama, a genius swindler.

The rest I CANNOT say, but after you watch the drama ( be sure to watch until episode 6 AT LEAST before giving judgement ), you WILL see the reason why I've given this a very good rating. Heck, I've even hosted one of the game in SCHOOL before.

I STRONGLY recommend you to watch this if :

-You like Death Note.
-You like L in Death Note.
-You like money.
-You like a VERY juicy plot
-You like shows like " Who wants to be a millionaire " and/or " The weakest link "
-You like anything to do with Psychology
-You like Japanese dramas
-You like shows like " God of Gamblers "
-You like riddles
-You like betrayals, hate and despair
-You like trust, honesty and empathy

And the list goes on. Give it a try - I did, and it got me hooked immediately.

My rating : 5/5 http://www.blogger.com/post-create.g?blogID=8099729682018872243

Clay Aiken - Solitaire

Posting here for easy searching/reference. Feel free to listen.

There was a man, a lonely man
Who lost his love through his indifference
A heart that cared, that went unshared
Until it died in his silence

And Solitaire's the only game in town
And every road that takes him, takes him down
And by himself, it's easy to pretend
He'll never love again

And keeping to himself he plays the game
Without her love it always ends the same
While life goes on around him everywhere
He's playing Solitaire

Another day, a lonely day
So much to say that goes unspoken
And through the night, his sleepless nights
His eyes are closed, his heart is broken

And Solitaire's the only game in town
And every road that takes him, takes him down
And by himself it's easy to pretend
She's coming back again

And keeping to himself he plays the game
Without her love it always ends the same
While life goes on around him everywhere
He's playing Solitaire

A little hope, goes up in smoke
Just how it goes, goes without saying
Solitaireee
And by himself it's easy to pretend
He'll never love again
Ohhh

And keeping to himself he plays the game
Without her love it always ends the same
While life goes on around him everywhere
He's playing Solitaire
Solitaire, solitaire
