VERY. Late update.
Alright I'll be updating my blog on a not-so-usual basis cuz I'll be playing my Pirate in Maplestory, with hopes of reaching at least level 120 before the end of this year...
unless I get my results back and I manage to somehow get to secondary 5...still I'm sticking to what everybody else said; " Sure can 1 lah, N lvls so easy I that time nvr study oso can promote " for the time being.
If not I can always continue at SHATEC, maybe take my private O's there.

FINALLY !

On the other hand..
worst day of the week I reckon. I think I lost 99% DotA games I played today..excluding the one I played this morning.
Sucks, my mouse spoiled during the middle of the game and I had some kinda computer fan error. Took awhile for it to get fixed up.
The only best thing I ever remembered ( and choose to ) would be my KFC lunch. I savored my 2 pieces of original drumstick and...yeah. After that I cooped myself inside the room again.

Lelouch Lamperouge is introduced as an intelligent boy with great talent at chess. Though like every other brilliant anime characters, he is also bored.
So when fate, in form of C.C, hands him the chance to crush Britannia Empire, Lelouch grabs it with both hands. C.C. bestows to him the power of Geass in which he can enforce complete obedience to anyone. This gave way to the chess-like battle between him and the empire.
Zero is the brainchild of Lelouch, a black-cloaked hero hiding his face behind a customized helmet. He forms the Order of the Black Knights to defy the empire.
Lelouch shows great talent in planning war. He has the gut to let others act as bait just to accomplish his end result. Though his weakness shows when he can’t do the same thing for those he cared about.

Name : Hei
Known as : Messier Code BK-201
The main protagonist and an elite Contractor with the Messier Code BK-201. Hei plays a gentle-hearted student from China named Li Shengshun when undercover. He becomes an apathetic and guiltless killer when on his missions. Joining an organization of unknown ambitions known only as a Syndicate, Hei is searching for the whereabouts of his sister Bai, whom he lost several years ago when the South American gate imploded. Hei's contract allows him to generate electricity, and he is hotly pursued by the Japanese government for his involvement in multiple assassinations. He acts as the spy/assassin of his team. Also, the real Messier object with number 102 (201 backwards) is unidentified and ambiguous, which contributes to the ambiguity that surrounds Hei in the minds of both his own comrades and the police.
Hei's mannerisms and behaviour are strange for the likes of a Contractor, whose mentality shouldn't be affected by normal feelings of compassion or sorrow. Hei acts upon these emotions regardless, making him somewhat enigmatic to Mao and Huang. He displays a deep love for his sister, Bai, who disappeared during the events of South America and has been looking for her ever since. Hei also has a past history with the leader of the Evening Primose and former Syndicate co-worker, Amber, of which the nature of their relationship is unclear. Hei appears to have no remuneration, which is later revealed in episode 25 that he was not originally a Contractor, inheriting his powers from his sister. New Anime...
Kinda early to update the blog but here goes..

Nothing much happened today. All pretty normal. So I'll just go straight to the point.
--
Today I started on a new Anime, Yozakura Quartet.
Genres : Action, comedy, supernatural
Normally I'll just go for the " supernatural " part, but thinking of it, this anime is more like a combination of Bleach (fighting scenes), Shakugan No Shana (see it and you can really relate to this) and the graphics looks something like Minami-Ke.
And the plot is something like...Crimebusters, where a group of police officers patrol around the city resolving troubles and all.
What really dragged me into this anime is how...alluring the characters in the show are, and the Opening and Ending theme are excellent, fits the entire show perfectly, although I have only watched 3 episodes up to now, I can tell that the show is a little rushed.
Theres VERY little information about the show in Wikipedia and ANN, so I guess this is another anime that goes easily unnoticed...then again, this anime has only 12 episodes ( from ANN ), so I guess it's going to be a short anime.

Happy birthday, sister?!
Cant believe I'm posting this, but I think it deserves at least, something.
So yeah, happy (belated) birthday, imoto-san.

Today, something interesting happened. Something that will change my life forever; something that will correct a mistake I made so long that I did'nt realize until today.
My horoscope...IS NOT A PISCES !!
Alright, it's...half a Pisces.
Yup. Took me THIS long, 16 years, to realize that all along I was never a Pisces but a Aquarius/Pisces cusp.
This will change my life forever. That would mean checking horoscopes are never the same again !
What's worst is that....
while checking something else related to horoscopes, I found out that my Pisces is VERY compatible with SOMEONE and my AQUARIUS is NOT ( Very ) COMPATIBLE at all ! That's something to worry about.
No wonder, at times, I've been acting...not like a usual Piscine. No wonder I've been acting, at times, so cold.

Last day of my secondary 4...
I'LL BE BACK FOR SECONDARY 5, SO JUST WATCH ME.

Anyway I had a cosplay photoshoot today, and due to some time constrains, we only managed to take 2 measly shots...not very good backgrounds, but still it's a photoshoot.
Today in school was AWESOME. Not because it's the last day of school, but WTF I DID'NT KNOW THAT SUCH A COOL TEACHER REALLY EXISTS.
Guess what? He screened episode 191 of Bleach IN CLASSROOM during LESSON TIME today...he was a relief teacher anyway, but still, watching bleach episode 191 in the classroom with all your classmate watching the same show and you knowing that the teacher is an Otaku makes you just go WOW.
Sadly, it's his last day, so guess this would be what I call a " once in a lifetime " experience...besides, I doubt anymore of this will happen once I enter Secondary 5...it'll all just be grinding, grinding and more grinding...and imma take up 5 days of tuition every week...including Japanese, of course.
I'm going to graduate from my Japanese Intermediate course next week...so yeah, that pretty much leaves Advance Japanese and the Japanese Language Proficiency Test.
So it's all pretty planned out.

If you like Anime, Chibi, flashy actions and adventure, then this is the game for you. It's one of those mindless button mashing games that REALLY requires you to spam your skills, cause it gets real hard during the beginning of the game...
Here's the drawback ( and why is it so hard ) ; It's in JAPANESE. Without knowing HOW TO READ the rules of the game, of course it'll be difficult to perform unique attacks and where to go..and of couse what are the characters talking.
Other than that, the game is pretty much good, so it deserves a 7/10 for people who is'nt into anime and 9/10 for Anime/Bleach fans.
Not surprisingly, characters such as Don Kanoji and Kon are in the game, but you CANNOT play them, they can only assist you. However, you can control Ichigo, Rukia, Ishida, Renji, Kenpachi and many more...( I missed out on Sado cuz I could'nt find him )
It's very frustrating when you get thrown into a situation when you meet a fork and HAVE to decide a path...and the road back to the fork is VERY long, and since I'm kinda lazy, I decided not to retrace my steps to unlock characters I did'nt even know I missed. Other than that, I find the boss battles ridiculously hard (excluding the first few bosses, up to Shiba or Renji) unless you really know how to SPAM.
(I was killing Kenpachi with having my Ikkaku and Renji doing all the work for me while I just run around and activate them to hit Kenpachi for me )
However, this game goes MUCH more deep into button-mashing adventure games. You can buy items...FUSE two equipments together...mix the character colour codes so that it fits one another for some kinda bonus special (I dunno what's it do anyway).
2 Hours into the game and I'm still at Soul Society, which means that this game is going to take quite long to complete, nevertheless, it's worth the memory space( the game is about 550MB+).

A split path.
Alright, today's title HAS something that has to do with what I'm writing.
Anyway everything starts out normal until somebody pisses me off which makes me draw the line as he breaks the last straw. I blocked him on MSN and hopefully he won't harass me again. There's a good chance he'll be reading my blog, but I would'nt bother too much about that. Hopefully the problem's settled.
Anyway to sum it up, I lost a friend today. I don't know why I even put up with him for the past 4~5 years. Well sure, he has helped me with plenty of stuffs, but then again we're down to pretty much neutral, so it's kinda like...neither hostile nor friendly, I suppose. I don't wish to hate him, but I don't wish to befriend him and get myself hurt again.
Anyway the anguish lingered around for quite some time...until I played two rounds of DotA with a new friend, Quan. So now I have Quan and Chrome as new DotA buddies...boy the games were awesome.
In the first game I played a whole new hero I never even touched before - Vengeful Spirit and Quan played Keeper of the Light. It was the MOST HILARIOUS MATCH EVER.
So the thing was this : Quan bought a Kelen dagger of escape, some wards and blinks up to a unpassable ledge where you can only reach by blinking. Next he RECALLS me to his spot and blinks down to lure a couple of dumbasses. When they came past me I used Nether Swap and they're stucked on the ledge. Even teleport scrolls cant helped as I used Magic Missle to stun them before they could teleport away. It was HILARIOUS.
While they were trying to unstuck themselves, we damaged them as much as we could ans usually they would just stone there for us to kill, as the unstuck command freezes your movement. While stuck, we pushed their lanes and won the game.

Anyway; after the match I went back to check on maple. To my surprise, I remembered that, I STILL HAVE MY BLOODSOUL GUILD FRIENDS ! Hopefully they'll host another Christmas dinner and it'll be my one year anniversary with the guild. Now I recall everything - what motivates me, what supports me and what really treats me like I belong to them - my guild.
Oh yeah and before I forgot - Happy birthday to Liang kor ! 20/10/08...time for u to go serve NS lo~ I'll miss you while you're in NS, fellow guildmate.
Anyway I'm running out of time now, gotta go sleep already.

Adrenaline surging through my body
Again, the title was totally random. I just took the first phrase I saw, that's all. No hidden message or somethin'.

What started out to be a dull and boring day suddenly changed into a dramatic ending.
--
After losing in DotA for 10 streaks in a row, I decided to figure out what's wrong.
Wrong heros? No. My scores were pretty mediocre.
Always being targeted? Partly, maybe because they could'nt wait to break my spree.
Unsightly In Game Nick which causes everybody to hate you pretty much equivalent to a jinx In Game Nick? Highly possible.
So here's what I did to rectify the problem; I changed a new In Game Nick. I'd prefer to keep it a secret, so yeah. Or else this tiny bit of information may cause my ultimate plan to burn into ashes...and possibly ruin everything.
What's most surprising is that, after I change my In Game Nick, I won the next 3 games in a row ! Now that's either luck or my In Game Nick is no more jinx.

Alright there's really nothing much to update about today. I'm still eagerly waiting for the next episode of Clannad Afterstory to be subbed..along with Jigoku Shoujo Mitsuganae and Casshern Sins, which I am currently hibernating on.

Anyway, nothing much happened today, with exceptions to a new chapter of Bleach manga AND THE COMPLETION OF BLADE DANCER : LINEAGE OF LIGHT. (Platform : PSP) (Genre : RPG)

My reviews about Blade Dancer : Lineage of Light;
Alright, if you HATE RPG games, do not have patience with games and if you like "actiony" kind of games, I suggest you skip this game. This game requires LOADS of patience and all you do is control the usual 4 characters casting spells at enemies and whatnot on a turn basis. The game is in real time motion, so there's no "pause" in the game, so turn off your PSP or else you'll find your character dead on the ground when you get back.
You're gonna spend plenty of time running about towns (which takes 10minutes if you haven't unlock a special gate) and during the later part of the games, the enemies will be a lot tougher than you think.
The game starts off with a WONDERFUL Japanese opening song which really makes you think that your 270MB game is not wasted, but I'll say it's something more like a a " make up " effect - to make up for running about here and there.
You may not catch what the characters are saying in the early part of the game - stuffs like Appraisal, Crafting and the Blade Dancer but don't worry - it's kinda of a thing that you would understand in the later part of the game. So don't think too much about it.
Sometimes, your enemies will come RUNNING at you and what's worst is the enemy MIGHT be stronger than you ( I fought a Ghost wolf when my characters are only 35 ! ) and if you are THAT unlucky ( especially the time i forgotten to save and got chased by a Pyrodragon, and still being unable to run away. I wasted my 1~2 hours running around, doing missions and levelling up my characters and my characters died.
Do note that you CANNOT save your game while venturing, only in towns or dungeons ( don't worry there's like only 2 dungeons in this game ) so that pretty much pisses me off.
The graphics of this game is pretty good, but I'll only give it a 7/10. The IN GAME MUSIC was horrible. There's no music while you're venturing and exploring the lands, only the sounds of your footsteps, and the music in towns are just like a 10seconds recording that's recurring time and time again.
However the Opening theme and the Ending theme were perfect.
Anyway, minor spoiler here : I think that there's going to be a season 2 for Blade Dancer seeing how the game ends. Sucky endings, for once, I don't mind this game having end with a "Happily Ever After"...but nooooo, they had to drag the storyline and what's worst is the credits just roll after the part was getting epic.
Oh and a minor note : Your friends are going to whine if they see you playing this game. Like I said, it's a RPG and don't expect to see many special effects, most of the time you'll be just swinging your sword.

Messier Reborn.
Alright, first off apologies for the VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY late update. Lots of things has passed since the last post, like...
Spending around 3-4 months playing DotA hogging up to 95% of my lifestyle, meaning that I have to sacrifice the time taken to update my blog ( which I was always too tired to do )...
watching more Animes..( notably : Code Geass R2,Casshern Sins and the long awaited Clannad Afterstory )
Since the year is already coming to an end ( 2 months from now perhaps? ), I already decided the top 3 animes I would recommand you people to watch, if you're an otaku just like me.
1. Code Geass ( season 1 and 2 )[ Ended ]
2. Clannad ( season 1 and 2 ) [ Ongoing ]
3. NOT YET DECIDED. ( It's a close fight between Jigoku Shoujo Mitsuganae and Itaruza Na Kiss though. )
Of course there are others like Shigofumi, Kamen no Maid Guy, Casshern Sins, Yugioh 5D, Gundam 00 and 2 more I have not watched yet ( but planning to ) : Macross Frontier and Gurren Langann.

Besides anime, I don't recall if I ever posted this yet, but I'm already close to finishing my Japanese Intermediate Course (8 lessons/10 lessons)...which would get me a Japanese Intermediate certificate...but that's not what I'm aimimg for.
I plan on taking the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) when I'm older..lets say 2 years from now? So it's still a pretty long road to go.

Apologies for the late update
Apologies for updating the blog 3 days later than usual my dear readers ( but usually it's only me who read this blog...and a few random guys whom I gave my blogsite to)
The previous week was one heck of a boring week. Had two tests (the notable ones) - Maths and Addmaths and what's so great about the previous boring week was...
-Bleach Anime
-Bleach Manga
-Completed D&T - now I can concentrate on my MATHS ( and Addmaths )!
-National Day CELEBRATION, but I had to stay back in school till 3-4PM to complete my D&T...but oh well.
Yeah, so that's about all.
Saturday was...EXCITING ! I went to attend the WCG 08 as a spectator and boy it was awesome, although I went there alone. I saw the match between Japan VS Singapore - I was rooting for Japan but in the end, Singapore won. Oh well - at least that's something to be proud of - it's our nation's birthday anyway. So yeah, happy belated birthday Singapore.
Then I went to Teng's house for a steamboat - it was an extortion. I had to pay $8 without being informed for the food. Crap. It's not like I ate alot <.<...but then again, I managed to smuggle an extra can of drink out, so yeah that makes it pretty much equal to a $8 meal.
3 cans of Aloe Vera drinks, a plate of rice, 2 eggs, shrimps, meat, chicken.
The steamboat soup was horribly polluted by the crab and calms - both which I do not like <.< Anyway I stayed there for an hour or two, hoping that Teng would help me out with some of the Monster Hunter Freedom 2 G quests but...since SX insisted that we go back early, we went to Lot 1 to loiter for a little while and bid each other goodbye (till the next school day)
Sunday - dreaded day. Although there is no school on the next day ( supposingly the postponed Day after National Day ), I felt the Monday Blues. I spent the whole day playing DotA and the day quickly went by. Sucks - in certain games I could get scores like 5-3 and in others I can get 1-5. I've never even got a GODLIKE spree in DotA before ( I lost to Han and Vin in that sense ) and ... yeah. Even today, I played terribly.
We played 2 games -
We kinda lost the 1st game and the 2nd game was where the drama comes in.
We were OWNING throughout the early and mid game, we thought surely, victory was ours.
The enemy had only two potential killers - Bristleback and Axe. The rest of the teammates were Silencer, Nightstalker and Lich ( left the game at the 10mins mark)
Our team consisted of Bounty Hunter, Centuar Warchief (me), Tidehunter, Necromancer and Bane Elemental.
Sure - we were OWNING, until the Bounty Hunter decided to farm a Divine Rapier, which drastically changed the tide of the battle. I helped the BH got his Aegis and we started pushing - we raxxed mid but Silencer had to buy a Gem of True Sight.

We tried to push top but our plan were foiled, I don't know how - Axe, Bristleback and Nightstalker wiped out Me, Tidehunter and Necromancer. The previous week was one heck of a boring week. Had two tests (the notable ones) - Maths and Addmaths and what's so great about the previous boring week was...
-Bleach Anime
-Bleach Manga
-Completed D&T - now I can concentrate on my MATHS ( and Addmaths )!
-National Day CELEBRATION, but I had to stay back in school till 3-4PM to complete my D&T...but oh well.
Yeah, so that's about all.
Saturday was...EXCITING ! I went to attend the WCG 08 as a spectator and boy it was awesome, although I went there alone. I saw the match between Japan VS Singapore - I was rooting for Japan but in the end, Singapore won. Oh well - at least that's something to be proud of - it's our nation's birthday anyway. So yeah, happy belated birthday Singapore.
Then I went to Teng's house for a steamboat - it was an extortion. I had to pay $8 without being informed for the food. Crap. It's not like I ate alot <.<...but then again, I managed to smuggle an extra can of drink out, so yeah that makes it pretty much equal to a $8 meal.
3 cans of Aloe Vera drinks, a plate of rice, 2 eggs, shrimps, meat, chicken.
The steamboat soup was horribly polluted by the crab and calms - both which I do not like <.< Anyway I stayed there for an hour or two, hoping that Teng would help me out with some of the Monster Hunter Freedom 2 G quests but...since SX insisted that we go back early, we went to Lot 1 to loiter for a little while and bid each other goodbye (till the next school day)
Sunday - dreaded day. Although there is no school on the next day ( supposingly the postponed Day after National Day ), I felt the Monday Blues. I spent the whole day playing DotA and the day quickly went by. Sucks - in certain games I could get scores like 5-3 and in others I can get 1-5. I've never even got a GODLIKE spree in DotA before ( I lost to Han and Vin in that sense ) and ... yeah. Even today, I played terribly.
We played 2 games -
We kinda lost the 1st game and the 2nd game was where the drama comes in.
We were OWNING throughout the early and mid game, we thought surely, victory was ours.
The enemy had only two potential killers - Bristleback and Axe. The rest of the teammates were Silencer, Nightstalker and Lich ( left the game at the 10mins mark)
Our team consisted of Bounty Hunter, Centuar Warchief (me), Tidehunter, Necromancer and Bane Elemental.

Another week.
This week has been a good week for me, nothing bad or nothing good happens - so I guess it should be fine. Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday were normal school days - and one piece of so-so news : I completed my D&T artefact but...weather it will make the grades or not is another matter - still, no worries ! There's still the folder and the presentation boards to do !
Today I attended the annual school cross country walk-a-jog thing...yeah if you know me well enough, then I ain't the one that's gonna jog. So I walked the whole 3.8km - boy it was tiring. I know - 3.8km and I'm already tired - maybe because of the heat. It's seriously getting hotter and hotter these days. I don't even remember the last time it rained - a week or two back maybe?
Anyway after the " run " - I went to catch a movie all by myself; Kenny insisted that I watched "The Mummy : Tomb of the Dragon Emperor" but I figured that I don't kinda like watching these kinds of show - I'd rather go for something local like Money No Enough II or X-Files : I want to believe.
Seeing that Money No Enough II starting at a much closer time, I went to order a ticket for it and here's my rating now :
3.5/5 if you like Local movies and 2/5 if you don't really think high about our Singaporean standard.
I won't guarantee that I won't post any spoilers, so read at your risk.
Jack Neo's finally ran out of his humor as I don't really get much humor from watching the movie - but the drama covers up for that. Although some scenes may make you feel sad and cry, there are also scenes that makes you laugh. Compared to " I not stupid " or even " Homerun " - the humor is just bland.
Nevertheless - the morale of the story really hit me hard - [ SPOILER ] [ SPOILER ] [SPOILER ] In the name of Money; Mother is just another title [ SPOILER ] [ SPOILER ] [ SPOILER ]
So if you're an ungrateful brat to your parents, I suggest you go watch this show to do some soul-searching.

Maybe I'll catch X-files next time, cause I don't see the hype for X-Files nowadays - The older generation won't get what's going on and the younger generation would stick with 'The Mummy : TotDE' or 'Money No Enough 2' .

If there's anything it can be settled; Don't solve things by resorting to violence - it makes you look stupid.
Before I even recklessly retaliate - I am not so UNCARING and and CRUEL to think about the consequence - What if I ATTACK you without caring for your personal HEALTH, FAMILY and PRIDE. Sure, I may be irritating at times but did I even TOUCH you even?
Besides, it's pot calling the kettle back if I retaliated; YOU may think this is just plain old dumb fun - since you are my friend, I could HIT you, ABUSE you, HURL VULGARITIES at you, GET ALL COMFORTABLE with you but NO - You're just throwing my respect I have for you. I don't really wish to bear a grudge on YOU, I really don't.
I've been getting bullied ever since I entered my secondary school phrase - WHY are YOU making life so DIFFICULT and MISERABLE to ME ? I endured for 4 years and I'm still getting bullied - even a primary school kid picks on me, much less a secondary one guy.
Sure, heck care the previous few sentence if you want; I made my stand.

Just crap.
So it's been another not-so-good week. I've left my Amaths homework till last minute (I've always do) and I fallen sick twice in two weeks. Man like what's been wrong with me these few days, and just recently, I have a sudden urge to get back to playing DotA again; which means bad news. Everything is turning out like last year, and last year, semester 3 was one of the WORST PERIOD OF MY SECONDARY SCHOOL LIFE.
I flunked semester 3, failed almost ALL my subjects (English, Maths, C.H., Chinese, AddMaths, D&T - I failed them all.), got hopelessly addicted to DotA (and reflecting back, I still was playing DotA even my test was just a day away)and falling into a relationship - but no more.
This time I ain't failing more than 2 of my subjects (which is always the usual, AddMaths and Chinese) and I had better get myself out of this DotA addiction...! Of course, I should pay a little visit back to my Maplestory guildmates once in a while or so, hopefully I have'nt been expelled from the guild. And NO more relationships until I get the end of my O levels - and if I'm even getting any, 99.999% of the chances would be that...alright forget it; let's not wander too far off topic.
Anyways that's about all, a new episode of Bleach yesterday and a new chapter of Bleach today. Not really that good thou.

It's been eventful.
Alright so these few days had been kinda eventful while I have not been updating my blog, but it's all cool.
So the previous Friday I went to a " Cultural Nite " event hosted by my school in collaboration with some Philippines High School Arts thingy and Singapore polytechnic. It was...kinda sucky if you asked me. No difference from your average weekly assembly, the ironic thing is, while we all dread assemblies, most of us paid $10 to watch the performances, but heck, I'll just go with the flow at the moment.
Saturday and Sunday were as usual, tuition and...yeah, that's about all.
Have'nt completed my D&T artifact thou, so I guess I need to rush things up, maybe cut some ideas from my artifact, thou shall not fail this.
Monday and Tuesday were nothing much to mention about either. Cept that I had a VERY bad flue on Tuesday; and on Wednesday I felled sick with a fever.
Today's Thursday and I feel much better, however I have not really gotten my voice back and my throat still sores...and I have good news, actually 2 good news...make that 2 good news and 1 bad news.
Good news : BLEACH 180 !
Good news 2 : I've received news that I'M GOING TO BE ENROLLED TO A INTERMEDIATE JAPANESE COURSE !!
Bad news : I think I failed my Addmaths test on Intergration today. God dammit, I KNEW how to differentiate and intergrate, yet I still did wrong. I had auctually FORGOTTEN to multiply something and POOF, there goes my grades. No matter, I'll try even harder for the next test, I will.
Edited : I MUST TRY HARDER FOR THE NEXT TEST.

Determined and depressing.
Alright so it's another new week. Well, my Design and Technology artefact MUST MUST MUST MUST MUST be completed by this week or else I'll fail my D&T N levels examination.
And I MUST MUST MUST MUST MUST regain my position back when I was in the top 10 in class; and these are the subjects that I'm taking down with me :
English - Nuff' said. A1.
Maths - I was EXCELLENT in this until I reached secondary 3. Somehow I screwed up my secondary 3 and lost my way in Mathematics, thus making me fail at 40+ marks or even 60 marks at highest. No more, I'm striving hard to change my 6x or 7x marks into a 8x or even a 9x score for my examinations, it's a new syllabus this year, so I doubt it's going to be easy anymore. Nevertheless, I have my potential.
Science - An A1 for this is a MUST if I would want to get into a medical course.
Combined Humanities - I did NOT study for this and I could easily get an distinction. However, some last minute revision won't kill. Who knows ? It may turn my A2 to an A1.
D&T - I picked this subject personally and I'm going to ACE it. I don't see how can I get a 'C' for this in the past few semester - and even a ' Just pass ' and even a 50/100 last year for an overall. Crap this - I'm going to ACE it.
AddMaths - A B3 would be good, and if I got an A2 for this subject I could literally FLY to the sky. Now that I have a tuition teacher, I'm going to pull my grades up.
Now, notice that I did not mention 'Chinese'. Well; I've given up on it, but I'll still take the paper and try my luck. It's frustrating how I keep getting 40~49 marks for this subject yet I RARELY get a 50+ for Chinese. Even so, 50 marks for Chinese language on a N level subject is considered failure.
What I PLAN to take : Japanese. I've got a BASIC course cert and waiting for my next course. Maybe this could replace Chinese altogether...

Anyway I watched the last episode of Ginban Kaleidoscope a few days ago and yeah I must say I cried at the ending. Oh, I won't leak any spoilers. If you want reviews then it's on the previous post.
Yesterday, I planned to update my blog but due to the time constrain, I can't. I was busy watching my movie that I forgot. What movie, you ask? ' Grave of the fireflies '. This is a REALLY tragic movie that goes features a teenage Japanese guy during World War 2 when the Japan bombed Pearl harbor. We all know that the American threw two atomic bombs at them, but this was what REALLY happens in the eyes of a Japanese during World War 2 when the Americans came into the fray.
Truly touching, I cried while watching the movie too. If you are looking for a really depressing movie, this is the movie for you.

Anime-craze is BACK !!
It has been another fast week, especially with the help of media, my after-school activities will never be boring again.
And I'm not just sitting on the chair to spam the CTRL button killing some monsters or whatnot - I'm watching ANIME.
Right, so this week I watched 2 NEW animes, and boy I must say they are pretty good.
1) Kamen no Maid Guy ( Ecchi, Humor )
This is one of the very comical anime I've seen. However, it's a little slow on the subbing, which is a real pity. I won't post any spoilers, but I'll give this anime a 4.7/5 rating. I think it has about 12~13 episodes. So yeah it's worth a try.
2)Ginban Kaleidoscope ( Supernatural, Sports, Romance )
Now, how often do you see an anime which has the genre of a Supernatural and Sports? This is my FIRST time watching an anime of two of these genre and it's EXELLENT. Especially the Opening theme - it's SUPER. It's fully released on cruchyroll.com ( 12~13 episodes ) so I HIGHLY recommend this anime if you are a fan of romance, besides I like the way the designer draws the lead character, makes me think what would my life be like if I were borned in Japan instead...I'd give the anime an 4.9/5 , and the downside is not many people I know watch this anime (nor the one above), unlike the famous ones like Bleach, Naruto, The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi, One Piece etc etc.

One of the special days...
Seriously, if I had to choose 10 of my favorite days of the year, I'd choose this.
So I woke up at 6.30 AM today ( and even with the alarm clock, I was afraid I would overslept ! ) and got myself ready for the meeting with my guildmates. I left house at around 7AM after having my breakfast at home.
I thought leaving my house at 7AM would mean that I would get those seats on the MRT but no - I arrived at the MRT station at 7.15 and it was semi-jammed pack for the ride to Jurong East interchange. I was'nt so lucky for the second trip thou, I had to stand for 3 stations cause there were simply no vacant seats. Can you belive it? 7.30AM on a Sunday and no vacant seats at all!
Anyway I met up with Uncle YK with his son the moment I reached there, but he had to make a move first as he was meeting his sister. So I just stood there...waiting...until James kor and Uncle Tainted at arrived at City Hall Interchange.
Then we met up with Kobe kor and Rain zeh (my defination of 'jie' ( Sister )) at Macdonalds and James kor taught me how to order a Student MCD EVM meal with the Student pass ! Guess what? I saved 10 cents for that ! ( Well 10 cents may not mean much now, but at least I auctually saved some money ) Looks like I'll be using my EZ Link card more then ever now !
So after breakfast we went up to verify our account. Thank god Uncle YK was queuing up already, so we just had to cut 3/4 of the queue. I know it's unfair - BUT LIVE WITH IT. And after the verification, I got a coupon that allows me to redeem my in game 3rd year anniversary FREE cash item.
After the verification we went down to the 1st story and used the event coupon to play those kind of " spin-the-wheels-and-win " games. I had two tries. I missed my first try and I ALMOST missed my second try. The divider was ONE inch away from deciding that I go home with a prize of I leave empty handed. Luckily, lady luck smiled on me. I got 3 postcards. I could'nt complain (although I do wish I had gotten the mini-plushie) but Kobe kor was even luckier - he got the mini plushie. And yes, the people behind were like " OMG HE'S SO LUCKY ! "
After that we had a short free and easy break. So there's really nothing much to write.
At 2PM we left the event site and went to the Singapore Toy&Comic Convention event. Boy - another memorable event. I changed into my cosplay outfit almost immediately
and I even got my FIRST PUBLIC cosplay photo there.
Inside the Convention event, it was just jammed pack. There were toys, lego, manga, anime and stuffs like that. For the first time - I'm auctually seeing that many cosplayers in Singapore. Boy - I'll be sure to attend the next event ! ( Sadly I missed the Cosfest 08 )

So I woke up at 6.30 AM today ( and even with the alarm clock, I was afraid I would overslept ! ) and got myself ready for the meeting with my guildmates. I left house at around 7AM after having my breakfast at home.
I thought leaving my house at 7AM would mean that I would get those seats on the MRT but no - I arrived at the MRT station at 7.15 and it was semi-jammed pack for the ride to Jurong East interchange. I was'nt so lucky for the second trip thou, I had to stand for 3 stations cause there were simply no vacant seats. Can you belive it? 7.30AM on a Sunday and no vacant seats at all!
Anyway I met up with Uncle YK with his son the moment I reached there, but he had to make a move first as he was meeting his sister. So I just stood there...waiting...until James kor and Uncle Tainted at arrived at City Hall Interchange.
Then we met up with Kobe kor and Rain zeh (my defination of 'jie' ( Sister )) at Macdonalds and James kor taught me how to order a Student MCD EVM meal with the Student pass ! Guess what? I saved 10 cents for that ! ( Well 10 cents may not mean much now, but at least I auctually saved some money ) Looks like I'll be using my EZ Link card more then ever now !
So after breakfast we went up to verify our account. Thank god Uncle YK was queuing up already, so we just had to cut 3/4 of the queue. I know it's unfair - BUT LIVE WITH IT. And after the verification, I got a coupon that allows me to redeem my in game 3rd year anniversary FREE cash item.
After the verification we went down to the 1st story and used the event coupon to play those kind of " spin-the-wheels-and-win " games. I had two tries. I missed my first try and I ALMOST missed my second try. The divider was ONE inch away from deciding that I go home with a prize of I leave empty handed. Luckily, lady luck smiled on me. I got 3 postcards. I could'nt complain (although I do wish I had gotten the mini-plushie) but Kobe kor was even luckier - he got the mini plushie. And yes, the people behind were like " OMG HE'S SO LUCKY ! "
After that we had a short free and easy break. So there's really nothing much to write.
At 2PM we left the event site and went to the Singapore Toy&Comic Convention event. Boy - another memorable event. I changed into my cosplay outfit almost immediately
and I even got my FIRST PUBLIC cosplay photo there.
Inside the Convention event, it was just jammed pack. There were toys, lego, manga, anime and stuffs like that. For the first time - I'm auctually seeing that many cosplayers in Singapore. Boy - I'll be sure to attend the next event ! ( Sadly I missed the Cosfest 08 )

Lesser and less.
Alright you guys might have noticed by now ; I'm updating the blog from daily to weekly. That's just because the school holiday has ended and I can't stay up late to 10PM or 11PM anymore.
No worries - I'll still blog weekly.
This is first week of term 3 in Secondary 4 and yeah, things have been going relatively smooth. A new english teacher and a new PE teacher. Surprisingly, that new english teacher WAS my CCA form teacher. Yes, and it's a nightmare ; maybe it's because well I don't know - I could'nt play my PSP or listen to music in class? The previous english teacher was better. Imagine a 60+ years old lady who can't even control a single person in the class : that'll be easy. I could slack and even play my PSP during lesson - but no more now. It's changed to a 30+ years old woman who will go all out to confiscate my PSP.
Anyway that's just the summery for the 1st week.
So what about today? Bummer. My tuition teacher can't make it - he SMSed that he's down with food poisoning. Oh well, so I had a slight change of plans. I MUST have him to come and the only way out was to try and get him to come tomorrow. Why would I want tuition when I can use that time playing or slacking, you ask? 'Cause I have an Addmaths test on Monday and I don't wish to fail. Simple as that.
Anyway, since my tuition teacher could'nt come, I had to change my plans. I had to wake up at 6.30AM tomorrow to attend the MapleSEA Triple Treats event at Suntec. So it's pretty late now.
I went to James kor house this afternoon too. That makes it my second guildmate house visit. The first was Louis kor, if you are wondering.
James kor house was the type of olden house - where the lift had only 3~5 buttons, at least his house was'nt THAT small. At least I learned he had a brother. Oh yes, while using his laptop, I went to a channel and found one. It was OFFICIALLY mine ^^v ! So I called some guild members down to help me down it. Yes, James kor was one of them.
He gave me a bowmaster 30k prepaid card ( used ) and a Maplestory poster calender. Thanks again, James kor !
On the way back I my throat acted uneasy again ( I had a sore throat for the past few days ) and went to buy myself a drink and some cough drops. So I told the shop keeper ( who was a woman in her 70's, by the way ) I wanted $1 of cough drops. She literally gave me the whole big packet ! Being a good sport, I gave some back to her and said " It's ok, that's more than enough. " I still have that bag of cough drops and it's not even 50% empty. The shop nearby my house sells the same cough drops for $20 for 1 piece. That lady gave me 15 pieces for $1. What a nice person.
Anyway, it's getting late now. I should be sleeping soon if I would want to wake up at 6.30 the next day. Oh and the most screwed up thing that spoiled my day ( and it's only 50 minutes passed Sunday ) was my MapleStory encountering an error that had me to deleat and reinstall MapleStory. Guess what? I deleated the game and I could'nt get it back. $(@*$*($* - Lesson learnt.

The first day of school in the 3rd semester...
It's all cool today I guess. The lesson's were not all that stressful, and it has been a pretty fast day.
For the record, I did not even touch MapleStory today, however I did surf some of my local forums.
Oh, and I'm going to try out something new on this blog : Video embedding.

It has been a short time...
To me at least ! 1 week just went by like that, but it's cool - I sure got some interesting things to talk about.
Monday Tuesday and Wednesday were BORING. Training my maple character - well at least until Wednesday my guild found out about the Jar quest glitching thingy where you could get 4% ~ 5% per Jar glitch.
On Thursday - It was not much of a different, only that there was a new episode of Bleach that day !
Friday was a memorable day. I reached till level 70 on my Dragon Knight on the Eridanus server - went out with a bunch of my friends to watch the movie Get Smart ( Boy,the movie was hilarious ! Don't worry there won't be any spoilers )...well actually one of them suggested to watch Don't mess with the Zohan but that show does'nt fancy me one bit. Maybe cause I'm more familiar with Get Smart. I used to watch the series.
Saturday was quite another memorable day. A new chapter of Bleach came out and other than that I forgot how I even spent my Saturday...I only know I had tuition which goes from 12PM-2PM that day and after 2PM I locked myself in the room and went on to Maple - and when I came out of my room it was already 6PM !
Sunday - which is today will be the most memorable day of the week. It's the last day of the Singapore secondary school holidays. That just sucks. It has to just spoils everything - but oh well. I shall not forget my ultimate goal in life - and thus I will bear with the fact that like it or not, I must go to school and do well academically for the major examinations. Oh and I went for a guild Krexel run today. I had to solo cause the other party's already full - but ah heck, at least it was fast and I got a share of the drops (66 reindeer milks !) Another guildmate got a Red Craven and a Blood dagger - which would be split among 3, me included.
Lastly - Happy 2nd birthday to my cousin, Samuel.
Alright then. I must say it's a very lengthy post - signin' off - Gene.
( Apologies I did'nt take any pictures of my spearman reaching level 70 or the guild Krexel thou, it was oh so lag. )

Terribly sorry...
I've not been updating my blog these few days cause I'm really using all the time to grind Maplestory.

Short and sweet.
Alright I'll summarize what happened for today :
Woke up at 10AM ( New Record ! )
And from then on it's just playing Maplestory I guess...I mean I lagged behind for 3 days and now - I'm back ^^
But that's just all - the usual routine.

I'm back !
I'm back from my trip to Genting ! So sadly, I did'nt take any pictures back to show you guys :(
Heck - the trip was so-so. 6 hours trip - got 75RM every day from my parents and I only spent 100RM on stuff like the Arcade and LAN shop...oh and watching a movie AND a magic show there. ( If you wanna know, the show's name is [ The chronicles of Narnia : Prince Caspian ], for the magic show, it's [ Dreamz ] )
And guess what? I saw a genuine WHITE LION there. Right - a WHITE LION. First in the South East Asia - and it's from that Magic show.
Sadly, no pictures also.
Oh and there are two things I noticed about Genting :
The toilets were really...creative. When you enter the male's toilet, you can see stickers and advertisements written in highlighters on the wall, and guess what they are advertising? Sex.
Interesting way to promote business, in my HUMBLE opinion.
And the movie environment there has changed ALOT. It no longer used to be a messy stuffy place which films movie from a fake VCD.
The environment was MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH more better than I last visited some few years ago - and the movie was REALLY clear - not like the previous time which was obviously a pirated video.
The film [ The Chronicles of Narnia : Prince Caspian ] was ok I guess - I'll give a 6/10 if you did not watch the prequel [ The Chronicles of Narnia : The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe ] and a 8/10 if you watched the prequel - cause you'll understand more.
The film lasted 2hours and 15minutes approx. - and I'm VERY pleased with the graphics.
Final verdict? It's worth your money if you want a break from all these Iron-man and Incredible Hulk - or if you are those kind who are interested in Lore-Fantasy movies.
Anyway I can't explain much without pictures but hey - nothing really much changed since I last visited.

Gene is on vacation...
First and foremost I would like to apologize to my dear readers ( although I only mention my blogsite to a special few )for not updating my blog yesterday.
I had to struggle to keep myself awake till 2AM playing MapleStory ( and I made my target ! ) and my Father had to off the internet router cause I was pushing it.
Luckily he was too tired to give me any punishment or else I would'nt have been playing
Maple today ( or updating my blog today ^^ )
Anyway today was cool - staying at home with my computer again - and guess what? I am going to Malaysia ( Genting Highlands ) tomorrow ! Don't miss me ! ( On second thoughts, please, DO miss me. )
I'm going to get 200RM ( That's like 100SGD I guess, or somewhere around there. I'm not too familiar with the currency exchange matter. ), per day ( I'm only staying there for 3 days ^^ ) and I'll bring back some goodies ! ( At least I hope my camera's still working )
So here's guessing the next time I'll update on this would be Wednesday.

Roller-Coaster ride.
Sometimes, life is just ike a roller-coaster, like it was boring yesterday, but today was so spiced with life.
So I went to school as always and surprisingly I had a really easy Physics lesson.
Just a 10 minutes Physics lesson. We just had to take the worksheet and go home - but I stayed back a little and did some D&T work.
The good news? There is NO lesson tomorrow. Hooray.
The better news? I've reached my mark for the E world for today.
The best news? There's a new episode of Bleach !
Yup - I could almost wish the day would never end.
* Strangely, whenever the day would turn out to be a boring day, I would have loads to write on my blog. However when it is a good day, I wish I never even had a blog O_O ! *

Me and my computer
Today was SERIOUSLY boring - as always.
Went to school, had Addmath and Emath lessons, skipped D&T and came running home as there was a MapleSEA patch today.
Argh - I was so wrong. I had to used my trump card today (I told SOMEONE that I had to renew my passport today so that I could skip D&T) and hoping to download the new patch to explore the new " Eridanus " or " E-World " server and maybe even have a battle with Krexel ( a 1BILLION HP boss - Body guard 1 + Body guard 2 + Grandpa ( The Boss ) = 1 BILLION. )
Oh well - the average time, by James kor, to down BG 1 and BG 2 and Grandpa would be 1 hour for a not-so-perfect attacker party so I'm guessing the time to down Krexel would be approximately 30minutes-1 hour?
Anyway - I WAS SO WRONG. The patch was SUPPOSED to be finished at 10AM.
It was then extended to 1330 Hrs - And I was actually glad when I heard this, boy I was SO wrong.
Thinking that the patch would be ready by 1330 Hrs - I went to buy lunch - and yes, I had to rush to eat my food. What a waste. I came back and guess what the Forum Moderator posted?
** Please be informed that the game client patch will be extended to 1700 hrs (+8 GMT).
Pheoy - but I still have some time, so I went to play a round of DotA and some bossing on a Private Server. ( And still have time for finishing the remaining episodes of YuGiOh GX )
I came back to the forum at 1730 hrs - there was MASSIVE lag on the forums. I spent like 15 minutes to finally view the thread.
Utter disappointment - ** Please be informed that the game client patch will be extended to 2100 hrs (+8 GMT).
There. One whole day wasted waiting for the darn patch. I rushed back and skipped D&T
and now at 2230 hrs (+8 GMT), the patch's not even up.

A picture speaks a thousand words...
Well - it's not all bad...I went to a friend's house today...and...did some...scrolling...and...I FAILED 2 70%'S ON A NISROCK AND IT BOOMED !
Bleh ! However, I believe other's had worst experience - like another friend of mine got his THREE Dimond wand destroyed by the 30% Cursed scroll. Compared to him - I guess it's no big deal.
Then I went to ANOTHER friend house to share some wonderful cosplay pictures with him - you know, Japanese cosplay and all ? My love for Japan has increased yet again =O !
So we compared some Singapore people cosplaying and Japanese people cosplaying - although we are unmatchable to the Japanese, but still we did good. Made me realise Singapore ain't such a bad country too - it has (a little) hope from me now.
For the rest of the day it's just Papulatus Clock - man it was a RECORD I tell you - I survived the whole run without any DK or Healer - just me and a 14x Night lord. I can tell you the run was pretty fast indeed, although that ingrate looted all the items and ran away. Pfft - luckily there were no equipments or skillbooks, only potions, mesos and a Papulatus certificate.
After that run I had one more chance so I went in again and guess what? I disconnected. Not only me - the WHOLE game disconnected for a good 10 minutes. Way to go, Asiasoft. Let's look forward to another free 2 hours of x2 during the weekends.
And tomorrow, a new boss (and server) enters the game - Krexel. A 100million HP boss which has a speed of 100, a Magic attack similer to Zakum, a Weapon attack lower than Zakum and has a face nastier than Zakum. ( I mean - Zakum is just a piece of scrap rock to me, now )
Oh and long-awaited return of Captain Lantica - let's hope they don't buff him up, but I don't mind them nerfing him XD

You live...and then you die.
That just goes to show that life is precious ; well, I don't wish to put another entry tagged as " Another boring day of my life " - so I'll do something different from now on, or else I'll bore my readers ( Whoopee ! I got readers now ~! )
Almost one week after the funeral on the void deck, here comes another one. My condolences to the family who lost their loved one - even though I don't know them <.<
It just goes to show that I'm/You're not the only one going on with life with the lost of your loved one, we just have to keep moving on I guess - life goes on - so yeah, life IS precious. Don't waste it -
spend SOME time with those that are still around. I did some cooking with my Grandma this
early evening ( well, I asked her to help me cook the egg ! ) ; Appreciate them.
Anyway I spent like 6 hours in school today - Maths, AddMaths, D&T - and it'll repeat all over again tomorrow. And on the weekend, Saturday ; I have AddMaths tution at 10AM-12AM ! And I have to RUSH down to Chinatown Atrium to take part with the other cosplayers ( I'm cosplaying as Hei from Darker Than Black )

I wore it a few times already though, and I'm going to wear it more often this time - I dream about wearing it to school too ! Yeah - call me an attention seeker - but that's my passion. It's my personal interest.
Anyway, since we are in the line of Anime, why not I show you some...posters ?

You gotta love this guy for making himself a phenomena on the Internet - but I won't go to the extend to say that he is a fool, I mean it takes BRAVERY and COURAGE to do that. Even I won't do it if you give me a hundred dollars, but I'll consider a million dollars ^_^
If you don't get what this means - It means he has ONE hit point left before he dies.
Ain't that super ?
This is (one of the many reasons) why I'll migrate to Japan.

End of another weekend
Yup - that's it. That's how fast time flies; and tommorow, first lesson of the day : AddMaths - but I think it won't be so bad now, now that I have a private tuition teacher, I guess I'll score higher marks for my Prelims.
Anyway today was quite fine - Maplestory Private Servers all the way.
Can you believe it? I trained a level 13x Archmage and a 12x Dragon Knight ON THE SAME DAY.
Even legit can't do that. Oh yeah I sure made loads of friends on the Private server, plenty from North America, could you believe it? With the power of Internet these days - you could befriend someone living MILES and MILS away from you with just a click of a button.
The sad thing was - No Papulatus, no Zakum and no Pianus today. Shucks - no worries there's always tommorow.
Anyway what really made my day was James kor showing me what he did to the folder on one of the Private Server.
I mean - heal any monsters you like, perma slow the monsters you hit and even 15 hits on a magic claw. Sadly for privacy purposes, I can't show you the pictures.
And he did not use Cheat Engine or anything like that - he just modded the files in the folder.
So there you go - nothing special really - but oh there's this :
I disarmed his sword ;O
