Cosfest [ 11th July 09 ]

Being alone sure must be lonely...OR NOT...or so... !

I planned for this but it did not went the way I wanted.
My life is currently screwed and my brain is officially hay-wired.
I can't find whats exactly wrong.

--

Anyway, I can't explain why but my brain does not function properly right now, so don't blame me if this post is all jimbly-jumbly ( wtfloldoesthiswordevenexist ).

--

So it looks like participation has been bleak ( as always ) but I'm not going to let this chance slip by.

Alone I shall go to the event as like my usual routine.
Oh how sorrowful must it have been but it is not like I have never done it before.

11th July - A very special COSPLAY day.

http://www.cosfest.com/Cosfest.htm - Cosfest 11th - 12th July
http://www.daiconnews.com/index.php - Daicon 11th July ( but it's in Msia, so... )

and apparently ;

As part of the Singapore Youth Olympic Games (YOG) CAN! festival

THE COSPLAY COMPETITON SEGMENT

• The members of the public (participants) collect a cosplayer card at the registration counter.
• The cosplayer card has 10 empty slots. The participant is required to collect 10 cosplay stamps from 10 different cosplayers to redeem a gift.
• The participant can also vote for their most favorite cosplayer by ticking on the cosplayer stamp.
• Each cosplayer will be given a unique stamp to chop on the cosplay card.
• The cosplayers move around the venue and interact with the participants. It is important to give a good experience to the participants so that they will vote for the cosplayer.
• The most popular cospayer is the one which has the most participants vote.

The competition time is 3.30-5.30pm.

Transportation from Downtown East to the Iluma(before the competition 3pm gather) and back to Downtown East(6pm earliest) will be provided for the participants. [in view of Cosfest 09 being on the same day]

CCA points for NYP students and Media coverage (YOG publication) are other incentives to look forward to.

All participants will receive goodie bags and certificates of participation for the Singapore Youth Olympic Games (YOG) CAN! festival.

The "Most Popular Cosplayer" award for this event will be given a trophy and $100 worth of shopping vouchers.

Is there even a relation towards YOG and Cosplay...?

--

So eliminating Daicon ( cuz it's in Msia ) - I'm left with Iluma and Downtown east.

BUT the answer is clear though - I'm with Downtown east.

What's this? Think positive, Eugene Goh !

This won't be the last cosplay event, right? I mean there's still AFA , EOY and CosCon along with other cosplay events. I'm sure you'll have plenty of other chance to get them to come with you !

...hopefully so.

I...don't know what to do anymore...it's...all ŠČЯΣẅЭD ÛῬ( apparently I can't find a good sign for D...maybe it's because EVERYTHING I DO IS WRONG =s...momentarily of course )

--

SEE THAT Û ABOVE? IF YOU SEE IT CLEARLY, THEN THE SIGN ON TOP OF THE " U " IS SUPPOSED TO MEAN =<
