The aforemention pledge was NOT made by me - the credits belong to the makers/owners of Patapon and Patapon 2.

Ok - now for the PSP game review.
Mana Khemia: Alchemists of Al-Revis (マナケミア ~学園の錬金術士たち~ Mana Khemia ~Gakuen no Renkinjutsushi-tachi~)
Genre - Role Playing
--
Firstly, if you LOVE Final Fantasy ( the game ), you SHOULD love this.
This game incoperates the element of Pokemon ( when exploring dungeons ) and takes the Final Fantasy battle-style.
Not only that - Mana Khemia has a unique system of its own - like its name suggest - Alchemy.
There are a total of like 150 items or something that you are suppose to craft from scratch. Gathering the ingredients to make a single item could take you an hour !
Another unique system that Mana Khemia has would be its unique level up system.
In this game - you DON'T level up. Instead, your ability counts on the items you've crafted. Meaning crafting EVERY 150 items or so is very much needed.
Whereas some items would come in plenty, other items are hard to make - however, fret not as you would have some teammates to help you - synthesis, hunt, gather - your choice.
Oh and a personal sidenote - make sure you have PLENTY of time to play games. As stated earlier, gathering ingredients could take up to 1 hour.
However, if you want FLASHY skills and enjoys SPAMMING off your skills to kill the enemy - then hesitate no more.
Lastly. the storyline of this game is not bad itself - with 8 different endings, you could play it over and over again without getting bored.
Overall ranking : 4.5/5
And also, Mana Khemia 2 is coming out of Playstation 2, so yeah, its just a matter of time before it comes out on PSP too.
