My dear readers, if I were to ask you all a big favor, it would be to see, read and watch this video :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKv7cw_Z1P4
DO NOTE THAT IT ONLY COUNTS IF YOU READ THE SUBTITLES FROM 00:01 ~ 06:13
READING THE SUBS HELPS YOU UNDERSTAND THE STORY BETTER.
This song gives me the goosebumps and makes me shudder tears and that's why I like it.
Saddest song I ever heard.
==
Quote from the song
" ...the 1st miracle would be you being born... "
" ... the 2nd miracle would be the time we spent together... "
" ...the 3rd miracle would be your sincere heart in the future... "
" ...the 4th miracle I do not need... "
Remember - If I have to ask you to grant me just a single wish - it would be to watch that video.

Goodbye.
...as I sit here reminiscing of the past, 11 years really flew past fast.
From the day I entered Primary School up till now - it all seems as though they happened just yesterday.
Time flies and it's going to fly even faster.
What will be the path that I lay foot to?
Where will be the point where I would reach my end?
==
As I bid goodbye to my halcyon days, ...I embrace the darkness inside me...resorting to the dark arts if I have to...
The.....complete.....power.....
My resolution...cannot be denied.
--
Goodbye.
I shall return after the war is over.
--
All Equinox meetings/outings shall be on halt for the moment.
I will not be bearing the sky ring anymore until I am fit to do so.
I shall not disgrace you, my dear Equins.
I shall show you that you are not being led by some idiot.
Nevertheless, fight alongside with me.
Fight.
I will NOT accept failure.
You have my trust and faith, always, my dear Equins.
Although...I won't be there anymore - but I shall return; if I ever prove myself worthy.

2 mind-blasting shows that will change the way you think. Forever.
Alright, here's something for my dear readers.
What do you guys think of when...
A person dies due to the burns on his head? ( Spontaneous human combustion )
The only witness of the crime scene was a young boy who claimed he saw the crime happened WHEN HE WAS SLEEPING ? ( Astral projection )
Can a person really die from (electrical) shockwaves when in a swimming pool?( Necrosis )
--
If you're interested to find out how Astral Projection, Psychic powers, Teleportation and premonition occurs, then GALILEO is the show for you.
( I think i've done a review on this before but heck )
GALILEO tackles most of the impossible aspects of the psychic and unknown realm by using science. So if you are interested in the paranormal and looking for an explanation of is the paranormal OR even be a skeptic and go along with Galileo that nothing is impossible, Galileo will SHOW YOU HOW TO PROVE THAT TELEPORTATION, ASTRAL PROJECTION AND PREMONTION OCCURS, USING SCIENCE.
Of course, there are PLENTY more weird cases ( there's 12 episodes up to date, each episode gives you a viewpoint of different power which you think the case is IMPOSSIBLE to solve. )
I'll give you an example.
How do you kill a person without even touching him OR leaving any evidence behind ?
Difficult? Maybe - but what they tackled was this.
How do you kill a person 100 FEET AWAY FROM YOU without touching him & NOT leaving any evidence behind?
I'll leave Galileo the Weird to answer that.
http://www.mysoju.com/galileo/
--
Another show that involves police and science would be KIINA.
Kiina is a very very very very very intriguing and this show IS BORN FROM FACT.
How does fish falls from the sky AND ACTUALLY KILLS SOMEBODY ?
Does a heart transplant really changes the personality of the person?
Do poltergeist really exists?
I'll leave KIINA to answer that.
Kiina is a 29 year old woman who plays a part in the police force, in a special department called IMPOSSIBLE DEATHS, involving getting killed by a ghost and the fish raining from the sky thing.
Everybody around here finds her weird and there's no need for her as nobody ( really ) takes her seriously, except the victim of course.
Anyway, both show uses SCIENCE to deal with PARANORMAL cases and if you LOVE science and the PARANORMAL, I would recommend these shows.
http://www.mysoju.com/kiina/
Happy watching !

MORE than 250,000 gaming enthusiasts thronged one of the biggest gaming and electronics fairs, Licence2Play, which was held over three days from last Friday.
After several days of gaming and cyberwellness talks, fans of the popular role-playing game MapleStory got to attend the official launch of its second episode yesterday at the Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre. They also picked up goodies such as in-game vouchers which they can use to buy decorative items in the game.
Student Patricia Eng, 16, had been trying to download the latest edition of MapleStory since last Wednesday, but managed to get it done only last Friday due to the huge number of people logging on.
At the fair, she bought two limited edition prepaid cards, which translate to virtual cash in the game. 'I'm very excited about Episode 2. It's now easier for me to kill monsters and complete quests.'
A MapleStory charity auction, where gamers placed bids to win five in-game weapons, also raised $18,230 for charity.
The money raised will be split equally between The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund and the Muscular Dystrophy Association (Singapore).
A director of a construction company, who wanted to be known only as Mr Yeo, 39, placed the highest bid of $6,950 to win a Dragon Purple Sleeve, a MapleStory in-game weapon, for his 13-year-old son. 'Any parent would do the same for their son as long as it's within their ability,' he said.
The first Licence2Play was organised by Sphere Exhibits, the lifestyle events arm of Singapore Press Holdings. Asiasoft GameFest 09 organised the MapleStory Episode 2 launch, auction and various other game tournaments.
Sphere Exhibits executive director Chua Wee Phong said the event gave parents a chance to gain an insight into their children's interests. 'Parents see that gaming is actually not as bad as they perceive it to be if it is done right. It is a very different world today and we must have outlets for these kids to have fun.'
Mr Teo Ser Luck, Senior Parliamentary Secretary at the Ministry Of Community Development, Youth and Sports, who opened the fair, urged parents to ensure their children are aware of responsible gaming. 'I think it's more important to teach children what are the things they should or should not see. But you also want to leave the choice to them.'

I know what you're thinking - 7000 SGD for a virtual item. Stupid? Maybe. It's for charity, so it's partially alright. Then again, for a virtual item :/
I won't comment.
--
Just to let my dear readers know, spending 7k SGD on a virtual item is ABSOLUTELY nothing compared to what happened a few years back ( IF I RECALL THOROUGHLY, DON'T BLAME ME IF I'M WRONG ) - There was one guy who bid like 20k SGD on a sleeve or something.
Anyway, shocking news, huh?

Asiasoft Gamefest 2009 & Famiglia updates
Alright, I'll start with the Famiglia updates.
The name for our Famiglia has been chosen ( by council of 5 (Elvin, Ivan,Sherman,Chuan Teng and Daniel ) and it's decided to be...
--Equinox--
Meaning :
The word is also used for the same event happening on other planets and in setting up a celestial coordinate system.
In astronomy, equinox is a moment in time at which the vernal point, celestial equator, and other such elements are taken to be used in the definition of a celestial coordinate system.
--
Anyway, since our Rings are associated to the Sky, Sun, Cloud, Mist, Lightning, Rain and Storm - referring them as Celestial would be appropriate...although the Famiglia name may change in time to come.
==
I shall now reveal the names of the Famiglia's guardians. It is currently 99% CONFIRMED.
Eugene Goh - Vongola Sky. Millefiore Sky
Elvin Chai - Vongola Cloud
Hansel Tan - Vongola Rain
Keith Tan - Vongola Lightning
Tan Chuan Teng - Vongola Sun
Sherman Tan - Vongola Mist
Ivan Chan - Vongola Storm
Daniel Ng - Millefiore Mist
Goh Kai Lun - Millefiore Cloud
Charlotte Lim - Millefiore Sun
Chen Jun Wei - Millefiore Storm
Alvin Low - Millefiore Lightning
Jovene Soh - Millefiore Rain ( UNCONFIRMED )
==
This.Is.Not.A.Game.
The Rings are just a symbol of my most Trusted.
==
With that written, I conclude this update.

Asiasoft Gamefest 2009

So I went to the Gamefest on Sunday, 25th May. Quite an interesting experience but I did not stay long, so I apologize for the half-written report.
I left my house at 5PM and met SOMEBODY ( actually 3: Sean (from 4-2), Faizal and that person ) at Yew Tee MRT station. Took the train to Jurong Interchange and then to City Hall MRT.
I went to take the nearest exit and arrived at Marina Square instead, then found my own way to Suntec using the REALLY LONG CUT. Either way, I got there.
When I arrived, I saw a bunch of people queuing up outside the hall for some maple items - I joined in the queue as well. Typical Singaporean :/
At first, they were really generous, giving you a Standee and a poster. Further down into the hall, they'll verify you and give you some coupons to redeem in-game items. I took the Pink Bean Cap ( maplestory ) and gave the rest to my friends ( there were coupons of SA, Audi, Rappelz and Cabal and whatevergamethatImissedouton ).
And this is where I was wrong - When I asked about the goodie bag, they said I had to buy 60k ACASH worth of Prepaid Card(s) to get that bag. I did'nt bring enough money with me ( In fact, I did'nt even know I had to pay ) - as it was FREE all along ( I went for all the maple anniversaries from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and now the 4th ).
Anyway, I enjoyed myself nonetheless and took some pictures of the events, but the piece de resistance would be the Auction.
The following are what they auctioned off and the final price.
Maple Mushroom plush toy (ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD - or so they said.) - 370 used prepaidcards ( ppcs ), 3700 SGD.
Maple figurine tank - 260 used ppcs, 2600 SGD
Plushie collection - 600 used ppcs, 6000 SGD
Prepaid Cards collection ( ALL versions of the prepaid cards from start till now ) - 300 used ppcs, 3000 SGD
Maplestory Laptop ( This was a REAL EYE OPENER. Unfortunately, it seems that the specs of the Laptop are not so good. China brand laptop :/ ) - 500 used ppcs, 5000 SGD
A2 size ppc ( Yes, A2 size. Only 3 in the world ) - 1500 SGD
--
IN GAME ITEMS
Dark Neschere ( 5 x 10% ) : 530 SGD
==
This was where I left the event. Unfortunately, I was not able to stay long due to school the next day :/
The next item was a Ribgol sword, and I bet that could easily skyrocketed to 1000 SGD. All the items are scrolled to godly stats, and if I could recall, last year some guy bided 5k SGD for a godly Claw ( dragon sleeve, if I recall )

Family Name
Alright, since we can't get the name of our Family, maybe I should take the lead and decide. We'll go like this. We will have 5-8 people in the council which will have the power to vote Yes or Veto ( which means no ).
I will post the suggested name of the Family in my blog and you guys can SMS/MSN me to tell me your vote.
--
EXAMPLE ( 5 voters )
Suggested Family Name : ABCDE
A - Yes
B - Yes
C - Yes
D - Yes
E - Veto
RESULT : NAME TAKEN AND WILL BE USED, SINCE THERE ARE 4 YES AND 1 NO, MAJORITY WINS.
OR
A - Yes
B - Yes
C - No
D - No
E - No
RESULT : NAME WILL NOT BE USED AND ANOTHER NAME WILL BE PROPOSED.
==
That was just an example.
The voters are random - with a minimum of 5.
==
Hopefully this will settle things out.
