These 2 J-Dramas are the best dramas I've ever seen ( local crap don't even scale as well as this )
Firstly...
Liar Game ( based on the manga written and illustrated by Shinobu Kaitani )
Nao Kanzaki, an honest college student, receives 100 million yen (about $1,000,000) one day, along with a card saying that she has been chosen to participate in the "Liar Game Tournament".In order to win the game, she is to steal the 100 million yen issued to her sole opponent, and to keep hers safe. Upon finding out to her opponent is her former teacher Kazuo Fujisawa, she misplaces her trust in him and is easily deceived. Knowing that losing the game will put her in debt, a lawyer tells her of Shinichi Akiyama, a genius swindler.
The rest I CANNOT say, but after you watch the drama ( be sure to watch until episode 6 AT LEAST before giving judgement ), you WILL see the reason why I've given this a very good rating. Heck, I've even hosted one of the game in SCHOOL before.
I STRONGLY recommend you to watch this if :
-You like Death Note.
-You like L in Death Note.
-You like money.
-You like a VERY juicy plot
-You like shows like " Who wants to be a millionaire " and/or " The weakest link "
-You like anything to do with Psychology
-You like Japanese dramas
-You like shows like " God of Gamblers "
-You like riddles
-You like betrayals, hate and despair
-You like trust, honesty and empathy
And the list goes on. Give it a try - I did, and it got me hooked immediately.
My rating : 5/5 http://www.blogger.com/post-create.g?blogID=8099729682018872243
