Today, I gained $50 Singapore Dollars (SGD)for walking 1 point to another, touch a wall and walk back. Sounds crazy? Believe it.

So I had to do a survey today and I brought my Zero cosplay suit along to class. Afraid that the cape's collar MIGHT crease, I took it out to check on it.
Then I thought, what the heck, why don't just don the whole suit and show it to the rest of the class, and I did.
The class was stunned in total awe when they saw me in my cosplay suit. At first it was just photo-taking, then some guy called out...: " I BET YOU $2 TO GO OUT OF THE CLASS, WALK TO THE WATER COOLER, TOUCH THE WALL AND COME BACK. "
Of course, it did NOT stop there. The bet increased to $10 as they took out their cash. I took the bet, of course. After all, I've experienced MUCH worse humiliation (
going to last year's Anime Fest. Asia wearing my Hei's suit. All eyes were on me when I was boarding the MRT ! ).
Walking 50meters wearing my cosplay suit was NOT a difficult thing to do, yet the difficult thing is that I had to walk past HER class. That's when Dan said : " Are you going to make a fool out of yourself by doing that? Furthermore, in front of her? "
My answer was clear. It was NOT the money that made me do it, but the experience. I thought of it of more like a simple catwalk for them to see my new suit. I was NOT provoking envy out of others.

Anyway, I've been to plenty of Cosplay events ( AFA, Cosfest, etc ) and I have took plenty of pictures with my suit on - posing and whatever. If they are willing to take pictures of me, and publicize my pictures over their newsletter, that means that I am NOT a fool and I am NOT ugly. I am good enough to be printed on a newsletter - and that's good enough for me.

Oh, and I came across this quote today. How... perfect.
" It takes a man to be brave
But it takes a real man to do something they know is insane "
True? I'll leave you to do the judgment.
