Its like a D&T Journal! Except that you have to do it with 2 other people now. Also you need to make it sound complicated.

my supervisor will constantly check up on my progress, then i act like i dunno how to do, i will try my best etc.

You have to see who is the marker of the report and what he/she likes. If he/she like organisation and very particular about small details, ensure that your report is perfect. If he/she likes long cock story, put in the history. If he/she likes thick appendix, just spam the appendixes. It is not counted in the limited pages anyway.

Despite following through the objective and give what is required closely, the marks still depend on the marker. I gave a report with multi references from different website to ensure credibility and stick close to the objective instead of story end up getting the lowest unlike others who might have just used one reference and talk cock sing song for a few pages which were not needed as said by the marker.

Q&A; if can kill just kill. Unless they are your friends and you want to help them, you can still do so under the pretense of asking question. Just ask easier questions and help them answer it. And also be confident and show your confidence. I even "corrected" a group for their error but when I went home to check out I was wrong instead, but since I shows my confidence the whole class took it and I got full mark for QnA.

i only do uni fyp b4. But the impt things are:

- Meeting the Prof objectives. (constantly check ask directly whether u r progressing in the right path)

- Writing a technical and concise report include only the impt details and do it early. (i did IT so must technical)

- To get a good grades, your work must have some contribution to the world be it academic or commercial. eg. conduct a study on a new theory is a contribution, to summarise wat others have done is probably not a break thru.

- Proactive (get the basic done and think how u can improve on it)

- Finally u have some thing to show (ur wonderful end product).

-presentation (i screwed up but still A+ overall).

-bootlicking

-working super long hours (what is impt is the end product although i worked super long hours too)
